The building renovation was a complete gut and rebuild contract, requiring all non-structural components to be removed and replaced per the new design. The design-build contract went to the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.
The Bee Research Laboratory and the Bovine Function Genomics Laboratory will occupy this building.
