The Sojourner Truth School is a public charter school located in Washington, DC, dedicated to educating middle-school and high-school students according to Montessori principles. The school is housed in a 55,000-square-foot space converted from a nearly 100-year-old church. The age of the structure presented numerous unique challenges and required the project to be divided into multiple phases to ensure on-time completion. This is the fourth school project completed by FBH for this client, showcasing the trust and confidence we have built through the consistent success of our work.
