Miltenyi Biotec's new facility in Gaithersburg marks a significant milestone as the North American headquarters for the German-based organization. This facility boasts a 150,000 sq ft manufacturing space. Gaithersburg’s manufacturing focuses on developing cell and gene therapy products. Miltenyi as an organization is focused on advancing medicine through gene therapy as well as creating new manufacturing products to support the industry. The project highlights include a 16,000-square-foot clinical manufacturing space, the installation of 150 high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, and 113 Prodigy ceiling service panels that house over 200 receptacles, catering to the complex needs of medical manufacturing. Additionally, the infrastructure was upgraded with over 700 new electrical circuits and 300 feet of Wiremold.
