Goodwin Procter
Goodwin Procter LLP (Goodwin), a law firm that has 10 offices located around the world, was the first tenant to occupy space in the new 1900 N St building. F.B. Harding also performed the electrical installation on this base building project. The Goodwin build-out consisted of nearly 90,000 square feet of office space that occupies floors 8 through 11. The highlight of their space is the 11th-floor “Embellishment Space.” This area is being used as two multi-purpose rooms and prominently features the structural truss system that supports floors 4 through 11. Included in the project was an extensive lighting and lighting control package as well as occupancy sensor-controlled receptacles that aided in reaching the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold certification.
